WMS PINBALL 2000: STAR WARS EPISODE 1
This is Jack Skalon, Engineer on "Star Wars: Episode One" (from now onward, SWEI). He is checking the fit of the back blue "loop" ramp on the final whitewood.

This is a photo of the team design room meeting table with some versions of the light saber assembly. Note different plastic housing or "blade" for the LS. This is a non production molded version. Production was made from apple green "Jedi" acrylic tubing.
Tavolo della sala riunioni alla Bally/Williams, con diverse versioni della spada luminosa. Notare le diverse versioni in plastica della 'lama' della spada; questa e' una versione non definitiva. La versione utilizzata alla fine nel flipper, fu costruita con un tubo in acrilico verde, che fa molto "Jedi".

Il brillante Kevin O'Connor aggiunge un paio di ritocchi alla bozza per il vetro della testata - sembra lavorare sotto l'influsso dela Forza... e perche' John Popadiuk ha in mano quella spada a doppia lama?? Notare, sulla sinistra, abbandonato ad una parete, il primo piano prototipo del "Cirqus Voltaire".
Meeting in the artroom with Kevin, Cameron and John. The artwork for the playfield is being discussed and gawked over. This version for prototype only had pink outlines around the artwork. Production had yellow.
Incontro nella sala grafici con Kevin, Cameron e John. La grafica del piano viene discussa, controllata e modificata nei particolari. Questa versione prototipo ha dei ritocchi in rosa, intorno alla grafica. La versione finale avra' tutto in giallo.
We have the majestic Princess Leia playing one of he first working prototypes that was displayed at the Star Wars convention in Denver (USA). This was the first showing of the game months before the movie and game was officially released! You can see she has a multiball going.
La maestosa Principessa Leia ripresa mentre gioca ad uno dei primi prototipi funzionanti, in mostra alla Star Wars convention di Denver (USA). E'la prima apparizione in pubblico del flipper, mesi prima che il film (e il flipper stesso) esca ufficialmente! Si nota chiaramente che la Principessa sta affrontando un multiball.
