Video Gelectronic Games (VGG)
- GElectronic comes from Genova (Genoa) + Electronic. Main site was in Carasco.
- Another company that started in the late '70s as a manufacturer of illegal copies.
- After some time, it seems to have obtained regular licenses,
before disappearing.
- After 1984 we have not heard anything about VGG.

Super Crash
A bootleg of Head-on emulated in MAME. Note the VGG inidcation.
Super Add-up
This
game looks like a derivative of Add-up - a clone of Gremlin's
Hustle - but it has a completely different color screen and
gameplay. There
is no similar game in the catalogs of Gremlin or Sega (parent
company) so it should be the only original game from VGG,
although the graphics and sounds are borrowed from Hustle.
The images are stills from the documentary "Giocare qui e là", by Enrico Ghezzi, made for RAI (italian public broadcaster) in 1979. The film includes a visit to the VGG headquarters in Carasco, with an interview with a person who should be the owner of the company (his name is not revealed).
