1977: a really rare photo of Lorenzo Rimondini at work, working on the graphics for the Zaccaria “Circus”, of which you can see some master films hanging on the wall.
Rimondini was the man behind all the graphics of almost every Zaccaria pinball or videogame since the start, until the middle of the ’80s. Ten Stars, Wood’s Queen, Farfalla, Pinball Champ, Earth Wind Fire… his maniacal attention, even to the smallest details, forced him to very long weeks of overnight work, as the available time to complete the work was anyway the same if it was made by Rimondini or just another artist. For example, take a look at the details of the castle, or the peacock’s feathers in the “House of Diamonds” playfield, or just compare his representation of an human figure (like the super hero of the “Ten Stars” backglass) with similar works of other artists, even from USA…
